Being fairly new to the Stenner team and this being my first LIGNA exhibition, I was truly impressed by the number of people who came to the stand to just say hello and also to meet up with our Stenner team of experts and sales people which were well known to them for many a year. What really astounded me was how many people from all parts of the world firstly, know the Stenner brand and secondly, proudly still have one that is running in their factory or sawmill from a very long time ago. One of the oldest machines reported still running at a customer’s factory who visited us at the stand, was from 1960`s.
Hannah Barnard created this masterpiece of a stand which really stood out amongst the rest of the exhibitors. We had Phil Dart and Mark Palfrey on the stand to assist with the technical and general how to…. questions, Syd Mather (MD), Jeremy Bingham(UK Sales Manager) and myself connecting with our loyal customers, dealers, suppliers and making new acquaintances during the very busy week of Ligna. The overall show was well attended and the quality of enquiries generated was significant. We were also able to sell a few machines during the course of the week. Our show machine, a ST100R went to a new customer for Stenner, the company VIRIX Prod SRL in Romania, owned and operated by Silviu Dobrin.
In closing LIGNA was a huge success for Stenner and we are grateful to all those who made the effort to visit our stand and make it a great event.
