When T.O. Mounter and Sons wanted some flexibility to produce fencing components they decided to purchase a three head MHS9 Horizontal Resaw from Stenner Ltd. “We are well positioned in the Pallet Board Market” says Mounter M.D, Alan Mounter “but, we didn’t have the ability to produce fencing components in a meaningful quantity”. The three head machine has the capability to produce four feather edge boards in a single pass at feed speeds up to 45 m/min.
“The machine was installed and producing at commercial levels within a week so we are really pleased with the line” added Mr Mounter.
The MHS9 is the latest design from the Stenner stable with over 700 models sold worldwide. PLC controls are standard, and, when connected to the internet, the Stenner Technicians can access the system remotely making future troubleshooting so much easier than before.
