What is a Combination Resaw?
A Combination Resaw Line is simply the ability to place various types of Stenner resaws in the same production line to achieve a greater variety of cutting pattern options in one pass.
A common example is placing a number of Horizontal Resaws in a line which is then followed by a Single or Twin Resaw to split and produce multiple boards in one pass.
Further to this, some of the resaws can be positioned such that they are not cutting which gives maximum cutting pattern flexibility. For example using only one resaw in a line of several resaws in various planes. Saws can have the ability to angle cut if required.
The lines are most frequently controlled via a Setting System whereby the Feed Systems and Saws are moved to the correct positions at the touch of a single button.
